SafeSmart Access’s Double Width AdjustaStairs offer all the same features as our single-width AdjustaStairs. However the double width stairs bring added efficiency and safety to the worksite. Ideal for temporary batter access, navigating pits, trenches, deep excavations, and moving between multi-level construction floors, these stairs can be set at various angles while ensuring a flat surface for secure footing, thanks to the 1200mm wide self-leveling treads. This means the stairs can suit any height within the stairs range limits stated under the variations tab.
At a 1200mm width, these AdjustaStairs allow two-way access and egress, eliminating wait times for workers to finish scaling the system. With an impressive weight rating of SWL 2.5kPa, and a big truss underneath, these stairs support multiple workers carrying tools safely with one free hand.
Built from lightweight yet heavy duty aluminium, AdjustaStairs are easily portable across site and can be conveniently folded flat for storage or transport. These units can be assembled by just two people in seconds and are easily joined together in-line to create longer stair sets.
Our double-width AdjustaStairs are also craneable and have optional crane lifting lugs, enabling placement in tighter spaces or over walls and partitions.
They are compliant with AS/NZS 1576:2015 & AS 1657:2018 standards and are proudly manufactured in New Zealand.
